Quinoa is an ancient seed and not really part of the Indian cook’s kitchen. It is however one of the tastiest and healthiest grains. It is tridoshic and balances all body constitutions.
Cooked with sweet and astringent carrots and green beans adds to it’s tridoshic qualities making this dish a serious superfood.

A vegetarian pulao is normally a seasoned mix of rice and vegetables cooked in water and tempered with whole and ground spices.
Quinoa instead of rice here really makes the entire dish so special – it’s a pleasure to eat and incredibly nutritionally hearty.
Can be eaten plain, with yogurt or with to make it a really wholesome meal with a lentil soup.
